'It made me really happy,' Madison told Good Morning America of the moment. 'It's two people that I guess mean a lot to me. Both of them are the fathers to our children.

'The fact that they can get along and all four of us could sit in the hospital while I have another child with someone else was just really amazing.'

Madison and Tyler were together for nearly three years before they split up after their son Cade's second birthday.

She said she and Tyler remained civilized and agreed to shared custody of him without a legal dispute because they wanted what was best for him.

The mom is now engaged to Cody, the father of her now-two-month-old son Waylan, and she credits Tyler's girlfriend Karin with making it possible for the four of them to easily co-parent.

'She invited us over for Easter and sat us down to talk about how we could make it work. She became a really good friend,' Madison said.
