Jeremy Irons Joins Cast of Beautiful Creatures

The British actor will join beautiful actresses Viola Davis, Emma Thompson, and Emmy Rossum in Alcon Entertainment’s big-screen adaptation of the young adult novel by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl, which is part of a series that includes Beautiful Darkness and Beautiful Chaos. Irons will play Macon Ravenwood, whom the authors describe as the local boogeyman. “He’s also an old-fashioned Southern gentleman with a penchant for cigars and controversy, not necessarily in that order,” they write.
