Publish date: 2024-03-08

Grace Zabriskie, Ayla Kell, Brad Dourif and Brendan Coughlin will star in indie drama “Rosemont,” with Daniel Petrie, Jr. directing.

Petrie and Rick Dugdale are producing through their Enderby Entertainment banner. The film will shoot in March in Salt Lake City.

The film tells the tale of four people trapped in the once-vibrant Rosemont Lodge during a blizzard just before Christmas. Kell will portray a pregnant woman on the run from her past and Coughlin will play a professional snowboarder who slowly falls in love with her and the two residents of the resort, portrayed by Zabriskie and Dourif.

Petrie recently completed shooting the surfer thriller “Dawn Patrol,” starring Rita Wilson, Scott Eastwood and Jeff Fahey. Petrie began his directing career with “Toy Soldiers,” with Sean Astin, Wil Wheaton and Louis Gossett Jr.

Kell starred in “Make It or Break It.” Zabriskie was a regular on “Big Love.” Dourif has voiced Chucky in all the “Child’s Play” films.
